Tell Them I'm Coming

Synopsis: An ex-con (Terence Stamp), fresh out of prison, goes to L.A. to try to learn who murdered his daughter. However, he quickly finds that he is completely out of place with no understanding of the culture he finds. His investigations are helped by another ex-con (Luis Guzman). Together they learn that his daughter had been having an affair with a record producer (Peter Fonda), who is presently having an affair with another young woman (Amelia Heinle). An aging actress (Lesley Ann Warren), who also knew his daughter, forces him to look at his own failures as a father. The movie does focus on the drama of the situation and the inter-relationships of the characters and seldom slips into an action piece. (IMDB.com)

Cast: Terence Stamp (Wilson) Lesley Ann Warren (Elaine) Luis Guzmán (Ed Roel) Barry Newman (Jim Avery, Valentine's Head of Security) Joe Dallesandro (Uncle John) Nicky Katt (Stacy, Avery's Hitman) Peter Fonda (Terry Valentine, Record Producer) Amelia Heinle (Adhara) Melissa George (Jennifer Wilson) William Lucking (Warehouse Foreman) Matthew Kimbrough (Tom Johannson From Seattle) John Robotham (Rick, Valentine Bodyguard) Steve Heinze (Larry, Valentine Bodyguard) Nancy Lenehan (Lady on Plane) Wayne Pére (Pool Hall Creep)

Steven on The Limey: "In many ways, one of the hardest movies to make, for me, from a creative standpoint. The shoot was not easy, because it was a very short schedule and more than any other film obviously, it was played around with in the editing room, and there was an enormous amount of trial and error. But it was a great opportunity to explore some narrative ideas that had occurred to me during Out of Sight that I never got to implement. Working with Terrence was just a dream."
